Our Ingredients

To produce our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to process into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color, and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content, and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

Peppermint

Peppermint is a plant from the mint family. It is the plant that led to the creation of peppermints. Peppermint originated from a cross between water mint and spearmint. The plant was found in the seventeenth century in England in a field of mint plants. The plant is cultivated in England, France, China, Japan, and North and South America.

Peppermint can be added to our dog food because it could make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific complaints related to the intestines and gallbladder. Preventing itching is also among the properties of the peppermint plant.

Peppermint can promote fresh breath. The mint in peppermint can have an antispasmodic effect on the intestine and promotes the flow of bile in the intestine. In addition, it can have an antiseptic effect.

Peppermint is rich in vitamins A and C and minerals such as calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus.

Carrot

The carrot as we know it today, or the orange carrot, is the result of many years of crossbreeding. The first white carrots originally came from Iran and were brought to the Netherlands by the VOC in the 17th century.

Carrots are an important source of vitamins and fiber. For example, carrots contain retinol (vitamin A1) and beta-carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in the body. Puppy, Adult, or Senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Yourdog Greenland Dog food varieties, you can use the following guidelines. If your Greenland Dog is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variety. For a Greenland Dog older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog Greenland Dog Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variety.

If your Greenland Dog doesn't seem to like their Yourdog dog food, please contact us. We will help you analyze the problems. If we cannot resolve it together, you will receive a refund of your purchase amount.

Feeding Advice

Transition Advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another feed brand, we advise following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then, feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important to let the dog get used to this for another two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After this, you can, at your discretion, start feeding 100% Yourdog Greenland Dog food.

Storage Advice

After opening the Yourdog package, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the bin but to place the entire bag, which you close as tightly as possible, into the bin.
