At Yourdog, we use tomato on a culinary level, where we consider tomato as a vegetable.

Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories, and have a high soluble fibre content which contributes to digestion. Tomato also contains lycopene, which gives tomatoes their red colour. The redder a tomato is, the more lycopene it contains. Besides giving a tomato its red colour, it is also known as a powerful antioxidant. Research has shown that lycopene can protect against cancer, among other things, and can help with cardiovascular diseases. In addition, tomatoes contain a lot of vitamin C and vitamin A and B complexes, which can contribute to healthy skin and an improved immune system.

Puppy, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our variants of Bosnian Coarse-haired Hound dog food, you can use the following guidelines. If your Bosnian Coarse-haired Hound is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Bosnian Coarse-haired Hound older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Bosnian Coarse-haired Hound Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Feeding advice

Transition advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we advise you to follow these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After your own discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Bosnian Coarse-haired Hound dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or container in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to put the food loosely in the container, but to place it with the entire bag, which you close as well as possible, into the container.
