Composition: Curcuma longa (turmeric), harpagophytum procumbens (devil's claw), orthosiphon stamineus (cat's whiskers), solidago virgaurea (goldenrod), alcohol 44%.

Dosage and application:

Unless otherwise prescribed by the vet or therapist.

The optimal dosage is 1 - 2 times daily:

Dog 10 - 15 drops

Cat 5 - 10 drops

20 drops is approximately 1 ml.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, once a day or once every 2 days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dose. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer.

Administration
Administer this product directly into the mouth with a plastic syringe, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal, as the product works better when absorbed by the clean oral mucous membrane.

If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small treat.

If the cat does not accept the drops, put the drops on a warm spoon and let the alcohol evaporate from the product. Then administer diluted with some water or milk with a syringe directly into the mouth. The drops can also be applied to the top of the paw, but check that the cat licks the drops off its paw.

Usage advice
Observe the animal's reaction carefully. Provide necessary rest, but also ensure movement. For stiff movement, it is generally advisable to walk the animal frequently. Especially linear movements, walking and trotting are good for keeping the joints flexible, and swimming is also very good for the joints. Abrupt stopping, jumping and quick turning, such as when playing with other animals and throwing sticks and balls (for dogs), should be avoided. This places too much strain on the joints.

Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days.

For long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. With improvement, a maintenance dosage can be started. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, observe the animal's reaction carefully. Initially, a higher dosage may be necessary; this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.

This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to include a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the 'stimulus' to be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.

Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the label and the box.

Synergy and combinations with other products

Side effects
To date, side effects of this product are not known or reported. With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term exacerbation may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal is reacting to the product. In case of severe increase, halve the dosage or temporarily stop and then slowly build up again.
