Composition:
Extracts of hops (Humulus lupulus), milk thistle (Carduus marianus), and chaste tree (Agnus castus). Diluted extract of marjoram (Origanum majorana). Alcohol 35% v/v.

Properties per ingredient: Hops (Humulus lupulus) contain flavonoids, tannins, phenolic acids, and estrogenic components. Hops act as an anaphrodisiac (sexual drive-inhibiting agent). Traditionally, people used hops in the treatment of irritability and excitement.

Milk Thistle (Carduus marianus) has a positive effect on liver function. In Chinese medicine, the sexual organs and associated intense emotions can be traced back to liver energy. Especially with increased excitement due to the proximity of females in heat, estrous cats, or doe rabbits.

Chaste Tree (Agnus castus) The Dutch name for Vitex agnus castus, monnikspeper (monk's pepper), refers to the medieval monks' practice of chewing on the dried berries to reduce sexual drive and thus better fulfill their promise of celibacy. The Latin name "Agnus castus" also refers to an influence on libido, as it is a combination of the Latin "castitas" (chastity) and the Greek "agnos" (pure) and the Latin "agnus" (lamb). Chaste tree contains antioxidants and flavonoids.

Dosage and application: Unless otherwise prescribed by the veterinarian or therapist, 1-2 times daily:

Dog 5-10 drops

Cat 3-5 drops

Rabbit 3-5 drops

1 ml = 20 drops

The product can be given directly or with some water using a plastic spoon or syringe into the mouth. It can also be given dropped onto something tasty. Give PUUR Geslachtsdrift at least half an hour before or after eating, so that it can be absorbed through the clean oral mucosa.

The treatment duration is 3-6 weeks.

The remedy should take effect after approximately 3 days to a week. If no effect is noticeable, the dose can be increased up to a maximum of double the dosage.

PUUR Geslachtsdrift can be used without objection in combination with other medicines. In a single case, an innocent and short-term exacerbation of symptoms may occur at the beginning of taking the drops. This indicates that the animal is reacting intensely to the remedy. If this exacerbation is bothersome, you should halve the recommended dose for your animal or skip a dose once. Should you believe you observe a side effect, we ask you to report it to your veterinarian or therapist.

Advice for use
Consult a veterinarian for suspected prostate problems, symptoms of which include blood droplets from the penis and excessive straining during defecation. Also consult a veterinarian if no improvement is noticeable after 3 weeks. Avoid contact with females in heat, estrous cats, or doe rabbits as much as possible.

Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days.

For long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. With improvement, a maintenance dose can be switched to. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the package. When dosing this product, observe the animal's reaction carefully. Initially, a higher dosage may be necessary; this product can be safely given at a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.

This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to take a break week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the 'stimulus' can be offered again after the break week. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.

Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the label and the box.

Side effects
To date, no side effects of this product are known or have been reported.

With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term exacerbation may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal is reacting to the product. In case of severe increase, halve the dosage or temporarily stop and then slowly build up again.
