When to use
For the prevention and treatment of fleas in cats weighing 4 kg or more. For cats weighing less than 4 kg, use Bolfo Gold flea drops for cats 40. Existing fleas on the cat will be killed within one day of administration. A single treatment protects against the development of a flea population for 4 weeks. The product can be used as part of a flea allergy dermatitis control strategy.
Restrictions on use
Do not use on unweaned kittens less than 8 weeks old.
Method of administration
Take one tube from the package. Hold the tube upright, twist and remove the cap. Invert the cap, twist to break the seal, and then remove the cap again.
Part the fur on the cat's neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible.
Place the open end of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube firmly several times to empty its contents directly onto the skin.
Apply only to undamaged skin. Do not allow recently treated animals to lick each other.
Side effects
The product has a bitter taste, and salivation may sometimes occur if the dog licks the application site immediately after treatment. This is not a sign of intoxication and will disappear without treatment within a few minutes. Correct administration minimizes the opportunity for the cat to lick the product.
