Beaphar Timothy Hay 1 kg is a complementary feed for rodents, a tasty and healthy type of hay for rabbits and rodents such as guinea pigs, chinchillas, and degus. Timothy hay has a high crude fiber content, which is good for teeth and digestion. It also has a favorable Calcium-Phosphorus ratio. Timothy hay therefore fits into a balanced diet.

Most types of hay are alfalfa-based and contain quite a lot of calcium. In terms of composition, Timothy hay is the most suitable for rabbits and rodents. Timothy hay contains a high fiber content (32%) and a low calcium content (+/- 0.5%). This favorable Calcium-Phosphorus ratio prevents, among other things, bladder problems in guinea pigs and rabbits.

Feeding advice: Rodents and rabbits should have unlimited access to hay as a supplement to their daily diet. Preferably place the hay in a hay rack or tray. Store in a cool, dry place.
