Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to process into our kibble. With the right amount of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.

Buffalo

At Yourdog, we use meat from free-range and grass-fed buffaloes. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color, and is packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content, and fewer calories, this tender meat is full of health benefits.

Poultry

Glucosamine

Glucosamine is a naturally occurring substance found in joints, cartilage, synovial fluid, and tendons. Glucosamine stimulates cartilage production and keeps joints supple.

Glucosamine is one of the most commonly used supplements for dogs with osteoarthritis and/or joint problems. This is not only the case for older dogs, or (overweight) heavy dogs, but increasingly also for younger, very active dogs. For example, due to a hereditary predisposition to joint problems. For these and other reasons, glucosamine is added to our dog food.

Apple

The apple tree is a tree from the genus Malus, on which the well-known hand apples, especially in the northern hemisphere, grow. Apples grow in temperate regions.

Dietary fibers have a versatile effect in the digestive tract. They are able to absorb moisture, making the stool soft and smooth. Dietary fibers also increase the volume in the intestines. This not only stimulates bowel function but also ensures thorough waste removal.

Apples are packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber. In addition, apples are rich in pectin. Pectin is a soluble fiber that contributes to supporting healthy gut flora. It also contributes to the palatability of the kibble and apples are low in calories.

Banana

Puppy, adult, or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our White Swiss Shepherd dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your White Swiss Shepherd is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a White Swiss Shepherd older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog White Swiss Shepherd senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Feeding advice

Transition advice

If you are switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. After that, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog White Swiss Shepherd dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog package, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage container or bin in a dry, cool, and dark place. It is best not to pour the food loosely into the bin, but to place it in the bin with the entire bag, which you seal as best as possible.
