Renske Fresh Meat Chicken Grain-Free

Some dogs are intolerant or allergic to grains. Three quarters of the protein from grains consists of gluten. The protein gliadin is found in gluten. Gliadin causes problems such as allergies in dogs. All grains contain gluten, but only the gluten from wheat, barley, and rye contains gliadin. Seeds of oats, millet, rice, corn, sorghum, and teff are also more or less considered grains. However, these do not cause allergies because their gluten does not contain the protein gliadin. So-called pseudograins such as quinoa, amaranth, and buckwheat are also gluten-free.

This product is GRAIN-FREE and therefore also gluten-free. All our products are gluten-free and some dry foods are also grain-free.

The fresh chicken in this grain-free product is freshly steamed and sealed. We do this for shelf life. The process is similar to how human food used to be canned in preserving jars.
This makes the product last longer, without having to compromise on the safety and quality of the fresh chicken.
The seal (transparent film layer) is applied under vacuum, which minimizes the amount of oxygen in the tray. This limited exposure to oxygen also helps to maintain product quality for a long time.

Freshly steamed chicken (80%), pumpkin (4%), peas (1%), carrots (1%), seaweed (0.45%), prebiotics: FOS (Fructo Oligosaccharides), minerals, yucca, ground comfrey, parsley, rosemary and garlic, glucosamine (0.05%), chondroitin (0.05%)
