Supplementary feed suitable for: Cat, Dog, Rodent, Horse, Pony, BirdComposition: Extracts of chaste tree (Agnus castus) and purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea). Diluted extracts of black cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa) and lady's mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris). Alcohol 35% v/v.

Properties per ingredient: Chaste tree (Agnus castus) Vitex agnus castus (also called Monk's pepper) contains antioxidants and flavonoids and ensures hormonal balance. This special property allows for broad applicability in bitches, cats, and mares. Agnus castus helps with irritability before and mood swings during the cycle.

Purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) Echinacea purpurea is an immunostimulant for reduced resistance.

Black cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa) a diluted extract of black cohosh is mainly used for prolonged estrus.

Lady's mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris) It is generally assumed that the high concentration of tannins (6-8%) is responsible for its astringent effect. Due to its tannin content, Alchemica is a suitable uterine tonic.
Dosage and application:

Unless otherwise prescribed by the veterinarian or therapist.

The optimal dosage is 1 - 4 times daily:

Horse 20 - 30 drops

Dog 10 - 15 drops

Cat 5 - 10 drops

20 drops = approximately 1ml.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, 1 time a day or 1 time every 2 days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dose. Even then, this product can be effectively used, but the reaction may take a little longer.

Administration
Administer this product directly into the mouth or muzzle with a plastic syringe, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal, as the product works better when absorbed by the clean oral mucous membrane. If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small treat. If the cat does not accept the drops, put the drops on a warm spoon and let the alcohol evaporate from the product. Then give it diluted with some water or milk directly into the mouth with a syringe. The drops can also be applied to the top of the paw; check if the cat licks the drops off its paw.

Advice for use
PUUR Utero is given when uterine contractions and expulsion of uterine contents are desired. To support and promote birth, PUUR Utero can be administered three times during labor at hourly intervals. In case of retained afterbirth, start administration during labor, three times at 1-hour intervals. After birth, it is recommended to administer PUUR Utero for three days to stimulate uterine cleansing.

Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days.

For long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. With improvement, a maintenance dose can be adopted. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, pay close attention to the animal's reaction. Initially, a higher dose may be necessary; this product can be safely given in a double dose. Gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible dose. This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to take a break week every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the 'stimulus' to be re-offered after the break week. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.

Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the label and the box.

Synergy and combinations with other products
This product can be used without objection in combination with natural health products and regular medicines.

Contraindications
Do not use during pregnancy.

Side effects
To date, side effects of this product are not known or reported. With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term exacerbation may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal is reacting to the product. In case of a severe increase, halve the dosage or stop temporarily and then gradually build up again.
