Pure Nature Calm Restlessness

Puur Natuur Calm Restlessness 30 ml
For nervousness, restlessness, and irritability. For acute events such as transport, competition, veterinary treatment. For horses: for skittish horses and during farrier treatment. Supplementary animal feed suitable for horses, dogs, and cats.

Composition:
Diluted extracts of Oat (Avena sativa), Linden (Tilia), and Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata). Alcohol 44%.

Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor or therapist, twice a day:
Horse 20 - 30 drops
Dog 10 - 15 drops
Cat 5 - 10 drops

1 ml = 20 drops
Shake well before use.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, once a day or once every two days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dosage. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer to appear.

Upon improvement, a maintenance dosage can be switched to. This is usually half of the indicated dosage on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. Initially, a higher dosage may be necessary; this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage upon improvement to the lowest possible dosage.

With some dilutions and extracts, a temporary worsening may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal is reacting to the product. In case of severe increase, halve the dosage or temporarily stop and then slowly build up again.

Administration
Administer this product directly into the mouth with a plastic syringe, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal, as the product works better when absorbed by the clean oral mucous membrane.

If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small treat.

Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days. For long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.

This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to take a break for one week every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the 'stimulus' to be reintroduced after the break week. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.

Interaction and contraindication
Always use during pregnancy and lactation in consultation with the attending veterinarian. To date, side effects of this product are not known or reported.

Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the label and the box.
